Xuqian (“the app”) is developed by RUI. In short: the developer does not collect any data from the app.
Data we collect
None. The app has no account, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Where your data is stored
Your subscriptions, notes, recorded charges, exchange rates and settings are stored on your device, in an app group container shared with the app’s widgets. They are never sent to the developer.
iCloud Backup
If you turn on iCloud Backup (Xuqian Pro), a copy of your subscriptions, notes, recorded charges and settings is stored in your own iCloud account, in a container only the app can use. Apple’s iCloud terms apply to this copy. The developer has no access to it. Turning iCloud Backup off stops new backups.
Images for text recognition
When you import from a photo, the camera or an image file, the app uses only the images you choose or take. They are processed on your device by Apple’s Vision framework and are not uploaded or kept by the app.
Exchange rates
For foreign-currency subscriptions that use automatic conversion, the app requests public daily exchange rates from Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.dev). The request contains only a date and currency codes. It never includes subscription names, amounts, notes or images. As with any web request, the Frankfurter server can see your device’s IP address.
Purchases
Xuqian Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; the developer does not receive your payment details.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification server is involved.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes all of its data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
